Droid Bionic to hit Verizon on September 8

If you have been counting the days to get your hands on the awesome Motorola Droid Bionic Android smartphone the launch is now very close. Motorola has now confirmed that the smartphone will be hitting Verizon on September 8. This will be one of the better Android smartphones of the year. We knew the launch was coming soon since the ads for Best Buy turned up not long ago.


There is no word on when or if the smartphone will hit other carriers. The Droid Bionic is a 4G LTE smartphone and will feature a dual-core processor and an 8MP camera. The smartphone will also record 1080p HD video.
The screen is a 4.3-inch unit and the OS is supposed to be Android 2.3. The phone is expected to hit pre-order status soon. As of now, there is no pre-order link on the Verizon page. If you want a Bionic, keep checking Verizon to see when it hits pre-order.
